Brodie Lancaster is a critic, author, and copywriter based in Naarm (Melbourne), Australia.

Her first book, the pop culture memoir No Way! Okay, Fine was published by Hachette in 2017. She’s currently working on her first novel, and co-hosting the weekly podcast See Also.

Brodie founded Filmme Fatales, a print zine about women in film, in 2012, and was a staff writer at Rookie (RIP) from 2013. She was named one of Melbourne Writers Festival’s 30 Under 30 in 2015, and delivered a talk at TEDxYouth at the Sydney Opera House.

She has contributed pop culture criticism, essays, profiles and reviews to publications including the New York Times, Vogue, New York Magazine, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, Little White Lies and Bon Appetit.
